Days are getting longer in Washington DC and with that, sunrise is my favorite time to photograph engagement sessions. Looking at these photos you will see why! As you may have noticed a pattern, I love empty cities. Why? Because it is so rare. A city in itself is such a busy entity, that finding it bare is such a treat. Stephanie, Joe and I met early morning by the Lincoln memorial and worked our way to the World War 2 memorial and finished our session at the Jefferson. Jefferson memorial is my favorite to photograph mainly because there are three parking lots!! And because it is out of the way from downtown DC, people tend to venture there later.
Ah!! This gorgeous morning sunlight!
I love looking back at previous engagement sessions, because I get to re-live this fun day. Weddings are so wonderful and special, but engagement sessions is the time when I get to really learn more about couples. Make sure to check back soon to not miss when I’ll be sharing Stephanie and Joe’s gorgeous DC wedding!
