The year 2015 was definitely for the books, including this great September wedding! It was a hot day, but Katie and Todd looked flawless! They arrived at Oatland’s Plantation in Middleburg Virginia ready for their first look. Katie’s bouquet was absolutely to die for with the luscious roses and greenery, and Todd’s boutonniere was on point defying the classic rose look with succulents. We had some time before the ceremony to for all the portraits, so we took advantage of the beautiful gardens on the lower side of the property, which included bush tunnels, a small pond and a fountain. This was a true southern wedding complete with southern charm, fried chicken and collard green and of course what would a southern wedding be without pie?! There was no cake it this wedding friends, but plenty of pie, and I could not resist a piece of the cherry!!! Yummmmm.
Enjoy some of my favorites from this beautiful day!
