New York City Photographer | Central Park Couples Photographer | Megan and Ben

As a DC wedding and anniversary photographer it is always fun to get out of my own comfort zone and explore a new city and new landmarks. When Megan, a dear friend and also a photographer, mentioned that her and her boyfriend were planning a trip to New York City (it being their first time!), and wanted some of their time photographed in Central Park, I was so excited. They opted for a sunrise photo session – and boy am I glad!! Being in New York City on any day, is like being in Washington DC during cherry blossoms, so finding places and having moments when no one was around us, was almost magical. I arrived in New York at 5:20 in the morning and ventured towards Central Park (fun fact – Starbucks in New York does not have bathrooms – even for customers!!), we walked around, laughed and took some gorgeous photos, drank coffee and I learned that I love almond croissants. Enjoy some of my favorites from this little trip!

I absolutely love this photo session in New York and can’t wait to go back. You simply cannot beat a couple hour bus ride to explore. If you’d like to learn more about destination photo sessions, make sure to send me a note!
