Summer is such a busy time for us wedding photographers, that sometimes we forget our own name, it gets so hectic. Especially when your family plans a vacation right smack in the middle on the season and doesn’t tell you that there is no internet access! Though a bit stressful, it was definitely nice to be able to get away and be free of social media and the likes for a few days. But now that I am back, I am so excited to share this gorgeous wedding with you all!!
Kim and Zach chose the route of a small wedding which is always one of my favorites, however it was different from any small wedding I’ve ever done. First off, their ceremony was at the sweetest little venue – Annapolis Wedding Chappell. The venue has a tiny little house and a ceremony site surrounded by trees and flowers and a garden. In attendance with Kim and Zach’s family along with a few close friends. This really made the wedding special as each family member and friend was clearly touched by the union of Kim and Zach. Zach’s mom added a family heirloom ring which was worn by Zach’s grandmother in the bouquet for a touch of old. Laughs were had, tears were shed (by both dads), and Kim and Zach sealed it with a kiss.
During our portraits in the garden and later on the waterfront at their reception, Zach kept Kim smiling through the heat and sweat. In case you didn’t notice, this gorgeous couple is expecting a sweet little baby girl so soon and all I can say is she is so lucky to not only have the best parents who already love her so much but from the looks of it also so many people that will love her forever!
Congratulations Kim and Zach!!! Now enjoy some of my favorites from their wedding day!
